Cheryl Ng is an Advocate & Solicitor specialising in criminal defence of sexual offence allegations. She has over 13 years of experience and is known for dedicated and strategic representation in sexual offence cases. A former Public Defender and Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (CLAS) Fellow with the Law Society of Singapore, she has acted for clients in both trials and plea matters across a broad range of criminal work.

Cheryl has represented and defended clients facing rape, outrage of modesty, sexual assault by penetration and a range of other sexual offences in the High Court and the State Courts. She has also appeared for clients both at trial and on appeal, in the High Court and the Court of Appeal. Her practice spans the State Courts, High Court, Court of Appeal and the SAF Military Court, reflecting real breadth and versatility.

Her criminal practice extends to capital matters, including murder and drug trafficking. She has assisted clients detained under the Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Act, and is a committed advocate for young offenders navigating probation and reformative training.

Cheryl acts for both local and expatriate clients, and regularly handles the ancillary immigration and employment issues that criminal proceedings can raise.

She holds an LLB from the Singapore Management University (2013) and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2013. She was admitted as a Solicitor of England & Wales in 2022 and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (2024). She is proficient in English and Mandarin.
